Our clients were moving from a three bedroom apartment into a 4 bedroom house. This lovely couple sold most of their furniture from the apartment in the move, which meant designing a scheme for the whole of the new house. We worked to find different pieces and design bespoke items and this was the finished design.
Bespoke designed drinks cabinet and 10 seater dining table feature in this stunning dining room. The home is very open plan and light due to the bi-folding windows across one wall of the dining room, so the contrast with the dark gloss table is wonderful. We designed a bespoke rug and curtains to fit with the silver and black colour scheme and placed a toughened glass on the top of the table in order to avoid scratches from cutlery or tableware.
All of the chairs, sofas and the stool in this room are bespoke handmade pieces. This is more of a ‘formal lounge’ for drinks prior to going out, so we made sure that all of the fabric used was completely spill proof – a red wine spillage will simply wipe off. Additionally, the client loves this electric blue colour and we worked to incorporate it into the cushions, chairs and curtains.
This very impressive headboard is custom built and bolted to the wall behind the bed due to the size and weight of the piece. We made an ottoman for the end of the bed, in exactly the same fabric which is handy for storing bedding and provides a lovely glamorous feel. Mirrored furniture & hanging lights complete the look, along with textured wallpaper on a feature wall behind the bed – to elevate the room even further.
